University of Texas at Arlington: Korean Instructor Needed

The Department of Modern Languages at the University of Texas at Arlington invites applications for a part-time Instructor position in Korean to begin August 2019. Responsibilities include teaching all levels of modern Korean and helping to foster student engagement outside the classroom. Requirements include a minimum of an M.A. in Korean linguistics and/or language pedagogy, or a related field; native or near-native proficiency in Korean and English; two years of experience in college-level Korean language teaching in a US college or university; and eligibility to work in the US. This position is renewable based on enrollment, performance, need, and funding.

Applications should include a cover letter, a CV, a statement of teaching philosophy, three letters of recommendation, teaching evaluations if available, and an unofficial copy of the candidate’s transcript.
