Vanderbilt University: Korean lecturer needed

The Asian Studies Program at Vanderbilt University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track Senior Lecturer in Korean language with an anticipated start of August 16, 2018. One year initial contract with possibility of renewal for term(s) of up to three years thereafter, based upon positive performance review. Responsibilities include developing and teaching Korean language courses within an innovative curriculum, active promotion of the Korean program, and serving as student adviser for study abroad in Korea. Standard course load is 3 courses per semester. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in second language acquisition, Korean language pedagogy, or related fields, possess native or near-native fluency in both Korean and English, and have experience in teaching Korean at all levels at an American college or university.
